A wonderful, quaint and very well presented cafe tucked away just off the high street. Service was friendly, informative about the local area and considerate. They gave our dogs water and treats while we had the most delicious vegan croissants and coffee. We would highly recommend this lovely cafe when you are in Cocker mouth. Definitely made use feel welcome during our holiday in the Lake District. Thank you! 🙏🏽

Found an amazing little eatery just off the main street in Cockermouth! The atmosphere was wonderful - a little courtyard tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The interior decor of the venue was beautiful and so tastefully done. The coffee was delicious and served thoughtfully on a little wooden tray with a mini Jamie Dodger. The staff were so friendly. Definitely a place to return to!!!

Friendly welcoming staff, the fruit scones were delicious 😋 and presentation was excellent, the outside seat is beautiful and relaxing. We will definitely recommend and be back to try all your other choices from the menu 😊 The sourdough toast and pistachio crossiant are also yummy 😋

Stopped here by chance today for a cuppa and some cake. Totally spontaneous and well worth the detour. Set down an alley off main road on the old site of Aspava, it has a nice vibe. Teas were served whole leaf not tea bag and my carrot cake was moist and fresh. Establishment has …More reviews
Stopped here by chance today for a cuppa and some cake. Totally spontaneous and well worth the detour. Set down an alley off main road on the old site of Aspava, it has a nice vibe. Teas were served whole leaf not tea bag and my carrot cake was moist and fresh. Establishment has an alcoholic license and I hope it thrives. Today was hot and situated in the alley it has the benefit of some shade,both outdoor seating. I think it's well worth a visit. There is also a boutique shop on the side selling candles, crockery and other stuff.- Food

Popped in one afternoon and ordered my son a pizza. They're made fresh to order which was ideal for him as he doesn't like too much sauce or cheese. It looked so good I got one for myself too (see pictures). He insisted we went back for breakfast the next day and I didn't argue. This time I was the fussy one, asking for my bacon butty to be crispy, which there were no issues with (see pictures). The cafe and shop are clean and decorated lovely. The staff are friendly and were great with my son (who has trouble sitting still). The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I couldn't resist getting a couple of items for the house from the shop too. I'll definitely be back, once the Highland cow doorstops are back in stock!- Parking

- My son loves it there, probably something to do with the extra biscuit I got with my drink, that he quickly stole. Although I'm sure the staff popped it on my plate for him anyway which is a lovely of them

The most beautiful little cafe which is set back off the main road with its own private courtyard. The food is delicious and a great drinks menu from coffees to cocktails and wine! Love the additional shop on the side selling beautiful homewares 😍 although newly opened they have definitely made their mark and I will definitely be visiting whenever in Cockermouth! Also dog friendly 🫶🏼 staff are super friendly and chatty and will do what they can to accommodate requests.- Reservation

Great little cafe in Cockermouth reciently opened. Food is great and the little shop opened next to it also has some wonderful gifts for sale. Well worth a visit. 👍

Cockermouth has another gem! This is a beautifully presented little café with delicious, freshly prepared food. It has recently opened and is tucked out the way in a little courtyard down an alley so we were surprised to see it so full. Despite being busy it certainly didn't feel cramped and the staff still took time to give a friendly, personal touch. The food was excellent and well presented with a good range of meat, vegetarian and vegan offerings. Lovely coffee. Highly recommend.- Service

We spotted this place while passing, and stopped for a drink. Real tea served in pots and a delicious chocolate milkshake. There was a range of pastries and cakes to choose from. We sat in the tranquil courtyard. The service was timely and welcoming. A lovely, calm spot.

So here we have a new Cafe in Cockermouth which for us as regular visitors to this town is a pleasant surprise as although there are other places to eat this one has just taken the top spot for quality food and drinks.
We sat outside in the courtyard as the weather was good.
The table service was perfect and the food and drinks were excellent.
I had a bacon sandwich and an apple juice while my wife had a pot of tea and a scone with jam and cream. All the food and drinks were lovely.
They even welcomed our Cockerpoo offering her a choice of treats which was a nice touch.
We can recommend this new establishment and will use again on our next visit.

Only stopped for a cuppa tea... by far the best tea I've had on my holiday! I was tempted by a cake... I was not disappointed. If we come back to Cockermouth this will be my first stop.
